They never grow up and they keep their curiosity.” -Isidor Isaac Rabi

Why Physics?
Physics is not about finding equations to use and plugging in to find “correct” answers in problems.
Physics is about using scientific and analytical reasoning to improve one’s understanding of natural phenomena and challenge others’ ideas about science. History shows that physics was only advanced by men and women who challenged the status quo, dreamed of new explanations, tested their ideas, and were wrong far more often than they were right.
The scientific process and communication of the process and results are of utmost importance. Without communication about our problem solving thought processes, science would not be the vibrant discussion that brought us from the geo-centric theory to atomic physics.
